We finally found out who our mystery callers were....it was a first grade classroom at General Rosecrans Elementary! Each of the kids got to write a letter to their First Grade Buddy and they all received one from their buddy as well. This was very exciting!!

Then on Friday, each of them got to Skype with their buddy so they could see who their buddies were and ask them one question, face-to-face. Such a cool experience to see them share about themselves, make a new friend, and communicate in ways that are beyond the 4 walls of our classroom. After break, we will continue a project with Mrs. LaSota's class. The students will work in teams each day to create, problem solve, compromise, develop, and imagine through writing and communication with their partner (or team). I can't wait for this project to continue to unfold!
