Below are links to all the websites that your child uses in our classroom. All the sites are leveled to their ability and are helping them develop many foundational skills. These skills include mathematics and literacy. Your child has a password to all these sites, if you have misplaced yours please let me know so I can get it for you ASAP. Have fun learning!
Click the above to access Big Walnut Local Schools Lexia Reading Core 5 login. Your child will use their student ID number, the number they use in the lunch line, as their username and password. Please remember, DO NOT help your child on this program. Lexia instructs and assesses, if you are helping your child in an area by giving them the answers, Lexia thinks your child knows material they may not know yet. I know it's tempting!
Click the above to access Raz-Kids. Remember, to get to your child's account, you must first log into our classroom. My teacher username is lsimmons3 - enjoy reading!
Click the above to access MeeGenius.com. Here your child can listen to hundreds of books. Hearing this fluent reading will help them to become better readers. There are many free books on the site, however; we also have a classroom subscription. Please click "Need Help?" above and ask for the username and password to access the full library.
Click the above link to access our Scootpad account. Please make sure to ALWAYS do your best so your scores can continue to increase. :)
Click the above link to access Xtramath.org. Make sure that you use your access code so your child's progress gets linked between home and school. Our classroom code is S46AG6RY-enter this into the "classroom" tab, once the code is entered, it will begin to say "Mrs. Simmons".

We have been lucky enough to be able to pilot DreamBox for the remainder of the year. DreamBox Learning Math, is a Kindergarten-5th grade math program that is the next generation of web-based learning, provides individualized learning for math in a motivating learning environment. DreamBox Learning Math automatically adapts to each student, to optimize his or her learning experience.

Since the majority of your child's learning and instruction is done individually, it is difficult to list which learning targets "we" are working on.
